This is what the land of milk and honey must look like. Chocolate, pralines, marzipan, nougat rings and ginger sticks up to the ceiling. Countless bars of chocolate are stacked on the shelves, and in the middle of the 40-square-metre Confiserie Paulsen on Poststraße (since April 2012 Große Bleichen 36), colourful Easter eggs are piled up, filled with cognac, nougat and fine strawberry cream. A sweet shop that owner Kurt Biebl has been running in Hamburg’s city centre for 14 years.
