VIU Eyewear

The Swiss eyewear label VIU continues its expansion and officially opened another store in Hamburg on 30 March. This is the 11th VIU store in Germany and, in addition to the location in Eppendorf, already the second in Hamburg.

Centrally located in the Hanseviertel at Poststrasse 25, the eyewear store is close to Neuer Wall and shopping addresses such as Acne Studios, Petra Teufel and the Alsterhaus. The ground-level salesroom is a modern mix of copper-coloured brass, grey wood and glass elements. The entire VIU collection of corrective and sunglasses is presented on around 45 m2, including collaborations such as VIU × Saskia Diez, VIU × Malaikaraiss and VIU × enSoie.

Like all of the Swiss eyewear brand’s own stores, the VIU Store Hamburg Poststrasse was designed by Creative Director Fabrice Aeberhard in harmony with the historic façade of the building and reflects the clear lines and shapes as well as the simplicity of the products.
